these are the pop tops from vials of drugs we use everyday at work. My friend Ann has been collecting them and making GORGEOUS bracelets, earrings, cuff links, bags, you name it, she can create it! I'm so proud of her, she's been raising money for the Child life services at The Children's Hospital Boston and it's a beautiful concept to use these pieces that we used to just throw away. She is an amazing artist, extremely creative and can definitely get things done!! Check out the fund raising site here:

ReplyDeleteLove, love this pic btw. I think it's so wonderful what your friend Ann is doing. I know a few children who are in BCH far too often. I am going to share this with them. They will love it.
aww thank you so much! I truly love my job at the hospital and am so thankful to be such a special part of these kids lives. These kids have such amazing gifts they give to us, they are so strong and so resilient. It's humbling!
ReplyDeleteAlyson I love this! I love your blog, and this project. Child life services are an invaluable part of a family's stay at any children's hospital. We learned that through stays at Vanderbilt Children's with two of our boys. I'm so excited to have found your blog and to follow your adventures!
